Undocumented students and students from mixed-status families may require unique support and resources. Below are campus resources to provide academic, social, and career support for undocumented students and their families.
Undocumented student support mentors are undergraduate students with social training and knowledge about the needs of undocumented students. Mentors provide walk-in and individual consulting on strategies to support undocumented, DACA, or TPS students on campus. To schedule a meeting or learn more about the UndocuMentors, contact undocumented@illinois.edu.
ALAS is a confidential group for undocumented students on campus. Led by the Undocumented Student Support Mentors, ALAS supports a community space where students feel comfortable to share their experiences, network, and socialize with other students in similar experiences. Contact undocumented@illinois.edu for more information.
University students can access a variety of health and wellness focused resources on campus, including the Counseling Center, McKinley Health Center, and Campus Recreation. Services are covered through the Health Service Fee.
